Can I arrange cover for individual consignments?

This is possible for larger risks & consignments arriving from overseas but goods in transit insurance policies are normally annual contracts of insurance with limits arranged per vehicle, consignment type or value.

I import by sea & air which policy do we need?

We have access to specialist insurers that include both marine cargo and goods in transit insurance as part of a packed insurance policy. The exact type of insurance will depend on what insurance the manufacturer offers and how you distribute your good after they arrive in the UK.

Can you provide immediate cover?

Yes for the majority of own goods in transit we can provide immediate cover. Quotations for larger risks are obtained after submission of a detailed written presentation. For some risks we can obtain cover within the hour, but typically quotes can take up to 48 hours.

How do I pay for my insurance?

For most policies we offer the choice of monthly or annual payment terms. Annual payments are made by cheque, debit or credit card or if you prefer to spread the cost of your insurance and pay monthly we offer a direct debit scheme.
