We have listed below answers to the most common questions we are asked about the policy options and terms on fleet insurance policies. You can contact us or request a call back if you prefer to speak with someone about the policy options available.
Fleet insurance policies are not rated on a no claims discount (NCD) basis. If you wish to add a business vehicle that currently is currently insured with a NCD the fleet insurer may provide a discount commensurate with the NCD.
Most fleet insurance policies allow you to choose an excess. Increasing this excess voluntarily can reduce your premium but higher excesses can apply for young or inexperienced drivers, drivers with convictions and drivers with poor claims records.
Fleet insurance can be arranged provided there are at least 5 vehicles. Smaller vehicle risks are arranged on individual commercial vehicle policies.
The majority of quotations for fleet insurance are obtained after submission of confirmed claims experience and vehicle driver schedules. Typically fleet quotes can take up to 24 hours.
For most policies we offer the choice of monthly or annual payment terms. Annual payments are made by cheque, debit or credit card or if you prefer to spread the cost of your insurance and pay monthly we offer a direct debit scheme.
