Is cover arranged per individual contract?

Contractors all risks insurance policies are annual contracts of insurance where the policyholder provides an estimate of contracts for the coming year and then provides the insurer with the actual figure retrospectively at renewal.

What are the excess options?

Contractors all risk insurance policies are not designed to cover small claims, and whilst tools of trade excesses would be low at £50 - £100 a standard excess for theft or malicious damage of plant would be between £500 - £1000. A poor claims record can also affect the statutory excess.

Can you provide immediate cover?

The majority of quotations are obtained after submission of a detailed written presentation. For some risks we can obtain cover within the hour, but typically quotes can take up to 48 hours. If you hold existing cover and can provide a renewal schedule and claims experience we can normally use this to obtain quotes.

How do I pay for my insurance?

For most policies we offer the choice of monthly or annual payment terms. Annual payments are made by cheque, debit or credit card or if you prefer to spread the cost of your insurance and pay monthly we offer a direct debit scheme.
